Da sehr viele Biker dem Winter getrotzt haben und bei Wind und Wetter die Trails der Halde Hoppenbruch gerockt haben, ist besonders der Singletrail ganz schön strapaziert worden.

Kurz bevor wir den Singletrail wegen den schlechten Untergrundbedingungen vorübergehend schließen wollten hat das nass-kalte Wetter zu unserem Glück nachgelassen! Wir haben den Trail bereits nötdürftig geflickt und die Anlieger wieder fahrbar gemacht, es gib jedoch noch einiges zu tun. Deshalb ist dieser Termin so kurzfristig und wegen unserer Mitgliederversammlung am 22.02. leider wieder auf einem Samstag

Um die gröbsten Schäden zu beseitigen und neuen vorzubeugen, hat David eine Materiallieferung organisiert, die einen Tag vor dem Trailday geliefert wird. An diesem Trailday werden wir uns auf das auffüllen erosierter Streckenabschnitte und das Freischneiden von Kreuzungspunkten und Rettungswegen konzentrieren.

(ab 01.03. ist das radikale Zurückschneiden von Gehölz wieder untersagt, Vogelbrutzeit etc.)

Wir hoffen auf zahlreiches Erscheinen!
